The Origin of Authentic Matcha

Yuzhi Matcha, founded in 2006, is a Japan-origin matcha brand

created by Japan Yuzhi Matcha Co., Ltd. In 2007, the company 

established its wholly owned subsidiary, Yuzhi Matcha (Shanghai) 

Co., Ltd., in Shanghai, China, serving as its core production base for 

matcha research, development, and production. 

With advanced technologies and machinery from Japan and 

Germany, the company was not only the first matcha production 

enterprise in China to be granted the No. 0001 Matcha Production 

License but also participated in drafting China's national standard for 

matcha. It specializes in the production of matcha powder and 

matcha beverages, and holds over 30 national invention patents 

related to matcha cultivation and production.

The company manages tea plantations totaling approximately 3,667 

hectares, including 920 hectares of organic plantations, with an 

annual output of over 320 tons of matcha and 720 tons of matcha 

beverages. It integrates modern matcha cultivation,  R&D, production,

and sales.

Yuzhi Matcha strictly implements FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000 

international food safety management systems, and adheres to a 

production philosophy of no artificial flavors, no colorings, and no 

additives, ensuring safe, high-quality matcha products with naturally 

preserved characteristics.
